ELEPHANT BENCH
For the CAPC musée d'Art contemporain de Bordeaux, Andree Putman designed the interior fittings and furniture for the Lainé warehouse, a former industrial building completed in 1824, from 1983 to 1990. The Elephant bench, with its timeless sobriety, is intrinsically linked to this building. Base in cast aluminum and natural teak from Asia, exotic wood or local wood (ash) made durable by natural heat treatment.
